I didn’t just find Myofascial Release, my body led me here through seven years of mysterious, acute pain that felt like a knife through the side of my head. While raising and homeschooling my kids, I kept moving, hiking, building forts in the snow, until I discovered MFR and felt real relief for the first time. That relief opened more than my tissues; it opened a deeper awakening and a clear purpose.
I’ve since trained intensively (Expert-level John F. Barnes MFR) and spent 15+ years helping people unwind long-held patterns with a nervous-system-first approach: gentle, sustained holds that give fascia time to change so results last.
I developed the Fascial Freedom Method, a Fascial Freedom Self-Care Workshop that has evolved into an online instructor training program. The essential self-care aspect of myofascial release is highlighted in this program.
In my practice, this looks like immersive sessions (3 or 6 hours within one week) for deeper, more durable change, and a monthly Fascial Freedom Self-Care Workshop to help you learn calming, effective techniques you can repeat at home.
